Can you really loose weight? Yes! With Medifast

Mike and I have lost 30 lbs! How? We are doing the jumpstart program of medifast. We decided to start on this diet plan on January 19th, 2010. I was a size 18 plus and Mike a 38 waist. We talked with our Dr. and he said, his wife did it and lost a lot of weight. He said like any diet it is what you do after you have lost the weight. (Medifast has a maintance program to help you keep the weight off for 1 yr.) We went to the Medifast Center here in San Diego, (Carmel Mt.) and listened to the introduction. Mike wanted to start right then. Well if you decide to start make sure you did not just go shopping! We ended up giving away several things that we knew we would not be eating before they went bad. Now we also did not want to tell anyone when we started as you get well meaning people who, say things like, isn't it expensive?(we figured we spend about $10-$15.00 a day for each of us for all our food for the day.) Or I couldn't do it, or are you allowed to eat that? so we decided that we wouldn't tell people and if we lost weight then maybe they would just notice and then we would tell them. Well in the last couple weeks we have had friends ask us what we are doing as we look great. Mike's blood pressure was high and he was on medication. Since a couple weeks ago the Dr. changed his medication to a lower one. Also My foot which I was having problems with has been so much better. I can't believe that I wake up in the morning with out all the aches and pains that I had. I thought,I was just getting old.what a difference 25-30 lbs makes. We used to come home everyday after work and have to take a nap. we have so much more energy! I am going to put our before and now Pictures up here soon. Tune in later for those. Kim, the Manager is great at explaining the program. Our counselors, Betsy and Nicole are helpful and knowledgeble. They are always there to cheer us on and to offer help and suport! When you go tell them you were referred by Mike and Pauline and you will get a discount and we do too! Oh, by the way the Brownies are Great!
